Oracle State Park

The fruit of the prickly pear cactus is a delicious and locally abundant naturally-occuring food and medicine. In this introductory class to working with prickly pear as food and medicine we’ll spend some time with the plant, gather some fresh prickly pears, and create and sample some delicious prickly pear drinks. We’ll also be discussing the vast array of healing qualities possessed by the prickly pear cactus.

Everyone should leave with an enhanced appreciation for prickly pear after this class.
